CHARDONELL--- is a hybrid Grape that is 95% Chardonnay and 5% Seyval Blanc. It makes wine that is much like a Chardonnay without the sharp finish of Chard. The notes are citrus, pear and a slight hint of honey (although it's just enough to make it smooth). They are currently at 21 brix so they will be harvested in about a week. The crop estimate is 900 lbs, but a visual estimate suggests more. I will be mechanically harvesting so there will be few stems which make up 15% of the weight. Thus, I will be asking $600 for the 900 lbs or $1500/ton if there is more than the estimate. Please call Bobby @ 512 740 0443 or email at [email protected] for information.
