Hello,

I am establishing a micro vineyard here in the Texas Hill Country AVA and am interested in partnering with any winery for the future that might be interested in small batch production. I planted 51 Tempranillo vines in March of this year and will plant another 14 vines next year (for a total of 65 Tempranillo). I have the capacity to double this amount in the coming years if this adventure proves successful. The vineyard was prepared for several years before planting with organic material and nutrients. It is between 1,590' - 1,600' in elevation with excellent air drainage. The vines were purchased from California and they are grafted on 1103 P (Paulsen) rootstock. Irrigation is in-ground from rainwater collection. Canopy and floor management will be done by hand and I plan on using some novel techniques to combat GWSS and PD. Will be glad to discuss more details or collaboration agreements. Image is of vineyard location outside of Boerne, TX. Contact: Bill Pugh at 512-630-8980 (Text or phone call) Thanks!
